Hello, welcome to TCANP!
We would love to have you to join us for worship! Here are some things you can expect on your first visit.
Most of our church family wears business casual clothing to Sunday morning worship, although you will find a range of styles from dressy to jeans & flannel. We have no recommended dress code. For Sunday evening and Wednesday meetings, our church family dresses casually.

We embrace the beauty of traditional worship music and cherish the depth and heritage of hymns.
Church Services
We are a casual, friendly church with a family atmosphere. We encourage families to worship in church together and do not have separate children's services during our main services. You can expect our 11 AM services to be finished before 12:30. Communion is observed the First Sunday of every month and any 5th Sunday following our 11:00 service. We welcome all Christians with a profession of faith to participate in the Lord's Supper with us.

Children's Sunday School class is in the main sanctuary building & adult Sunday School is in the fellowship hall adjacent to the sanctuary.
On Sunday evenings, we come together for a time of Bible study followed by a potluck fellowship. This is a more casual time to connect with each other, build relationships, and dive deeper into the Word.
Nursery
We have a nursery available for children under 3 which includes an area for nursing mothers. During our 11 AM service, a separate classroom with a television feed to the service is available for families with older children who may need a more separate space to practice their sitting skills.

"Busy Bags" are also available to help keep kids occupied with quiet play during the church service.
Youth Ministries
Our Character In Action & Teen Class programs run September - April/May and meet weekly on Wednesdays (CIA( & Thursdays (Teens). Our focus is on teaching the Bible to the next generation and guiding them to a meaningful personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Connection Opportunities
TCANP has various opportunities for connection, growth, service, and fellowship throughout the year. Ladies Bible Study, Men's Breakfast, Mom & Littles Playdates, Community Outreach, and family-oriented activities.
Seasonal Schedule
Summer is short in Interior Alaska and we want to encourage and support our church family to make the most of this season. We have a lighter church service schedule in the summer months (June - August) with no children's & teen classes. However, that doesn't mean we're not active! Throughout the summer, we have activities scheduled to promote fellowship, serve our community, grow in Christ, and strengthen relationships from Bible studies to church league softball, hikes, float trips, family camp, and Gospel outreach opportunities.
