The Church at North Pole believes that the Biblical structure for church governance is one of plurality. The oversight of our church is accomplished by a Church Leadership team comprised of the Elders & Deacons.
Jason Burgess
Elder
Jason was born and raised in North Pole. He and his wife, Danielle, have five children and enjoy serving in various ministries as a family. Jason was saved and baptized in 2000 and, after attending Bible College, has spent the last 20 years studying and teaching God's Word to people of all ages. Vocationally, Jason is a carpenter by trade and is the general manager of a local specialty contractor.

Blake Burley
Elder
Blake is a fourth generation Alaskan whose great grandparents came to Alaska to share the Gospel as missionaries and found a home here. At a young age, Blake realized his need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and believed in his heart for salvation through Jesus Christ's death and resurrection. Blake and Courtney were married in 2021 near her hometown of Russellville, OH. Together they enjoy raising their two children and serving their community for Christ. In addition to their duties as parents, Blake is a licensed professional Mechanical Engineer and Courtney is a registered nurse.

Zach Kier
Elder
Zach and his wife, Rachel, have lived in the North Pole since 2019. They have three children together, Evelyn, Matthias, and Benaiah. Zach and Rachel are involved in several ministries in TCANP as well the local Officers Christian Fellowship (OCF). Zach was saved at the age of six, baptized at age 21 and throughout his adult life has served in several churches as a formal member, as well as pointing Soldiers to Christ during his career in the Military. Zach is formerly an Army Infantry Officer and attended college at the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) where he completed an undergraduate degree Human Biology with a concentration in Chemistry. Zach transitioned out of Active Duty in 2022 to pursue ministry. He is passionate about developing young men in various stages of life to crucify sin, serve the broken in love, and lead boldly. Zach works for an Alaska Native Corporation as the
Project Manager for Fort Wainwright’s Base Operations Support (BOS) contract.

Chris Brown
Deacon
Chris was born and raised in North Pole, Alaska. He joined the Unites States Navy in 2001; married his loving and beautiful wife Candace in 2003 as she was also serving her country in the U.S. Navy. Chris was saved and baptized in 2017. Vocationally he has worked in construction for over 15 years and is currently in civil service. He and his wife are raising four beautiful girls in North Pole where they joyfully and faithfully serve the Lord in their church as a family.

Dave Proctor
Deacon
​
Dave and his wife, Sara, have been members of TCANP for over twenty years, where they raised their three children. Dave was saved and baptized in 1990. He and his family find joy in serving their church wherever a need arises. Dave has been a haul road truck driver for over twenty years and is currently working for a local company in Fairbanks.
